A new football fans community has been created. It’s called footballpals and its aim is ‘to bring football fans from all over the world together to make the most of each football season‘.
Travel to other stadiums worldwide, help other pals to buy tickets at official club prices, show them your stadium, invite them with a spare season card to see the local atmosphere at your stadium, make football friends from all over the world…Enjoy football like you never did before! Because football next to a local fan is a hundred times better than watching it on TV .
It seems to be a very innovative project. Other hospitality networds such as Couchsurfing and Hospitalityclub have already succeed with the idea of getting people together and making a good and original use of the social networks. Footballpals can be the perfect complementary for such hospitality networks: CS and HC offer a couch to sleep and FP offers the ticket for an thrilling game 
Footballpals can be very useful when travelling abroad and feeling lost about where to find tickets for a game. Tourists are often overcharged for tickets that usually would cost half of the price if you were a local fan. I hope FootballPals will be soon THE way to see football games without the need to pay more!
I specially like the idea of sharing the match with a local fan. I am an active Couchsurfer and can’t understand the word “travelling” without the “getting in touch with the local”, who can take you to the non-touristic restaurants, show you the beautiful secret places of his city and tell you about the millions stories of his culture. I just love it! 
and now can’t wait to start using FootballPals to see a European match somewhere in a big stadium, among the crazy local fans singing out loud!
